Southern Oregon Wine Regions

Upper Rogue Valley Wine Region

Join us in winding our way through the beautiful countryside as we capture the essence of the Southern Oregon Upper Rogue Wine Trail. Upper Rogue Valley Wineries

Kriselle Cellars – “Kriselle Cellars is a unique winery located in the heart of southern Oregon’s scenic Rogue Valley. Currently, Kriselle Cellars produces approximately 4,000 cases of Oregon red and white varietals.” –

Cliff Creek Cellars – “Cliff Creek Wine is made from the harvest of our very own vineyard, Sams Valley Vineyard. We currently have close to 70 acres in grape production.” –

Del Rio Vineyards – “Over 300,000 vines produce a diverse selection of grape varieties. Del Rio produces premium estate wines and is a key supplier for fine winemakers. The rocky south facing slopes of the vineyard drain well and provide excellent terrain for producing premium wine grapes. –

Ledger David Cellars – “Visit Le Petit Tasting Room and enjoy our signature Chenin Blanc and other estate wines including Sangiovese, Tempranillo and our award-winning adventurous red blends. Indulge in our urban-elegant wine tasting experience with limited production single vineyard wines.” –

Applegate Valley Wine Region

Join Premier Wine Tours in Southern Oregon on an enlightening journey through the oldest wine region in the state of Oregon.  A place of visionaries and pioneers, whose handcrafted fruits genuinely reflect both the land and its stewards for great wine in Southern Oregon. In what Sunset Magazine called “Wine country the way it should be”, these purveyors present their wines in an up close and personal manner rarely found in other places: the same hands that make your wine will most likely shake yours at the door.

Applegate Valley Wineries

Wooldridge Creek Winery – “Wooldridge Creek Winery is located in the heart of the Applegate River Valley in Southern Oregon. The winery and vineyards are located on a rolling hillside overlooking the Applegate River Valley. The first grapevines were planted at Wooldridge Creek in the 1970s. Our vineyard has now expanded to 56 acres planted in twelve varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Viognier, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Tempranillo.” –

Schultz Winery – “Our small-lot wines are made from premium fruit sourced from established local growers and from our estate vineyard. We work closely with the experienced team at LIVE-certified Pallet Wine Company of Medford to produce a total of 600 cases of eight varietals. Native yeast and natural malolactic fermentations yield authentic wines true to place. The fruit shines through in our wines that are unfiltered, minimally handled, and unquestionably delicious!” –

Troon Vineyard – “The Southern Oregon wines of Troon Vineyard are inspired by the wines of the Mediterranean coasts of Southern Europe. Place names like Madiran, Cahors, Bandol, Languedoc, Priorato, Campania and Sardegna have provided the varieties which shine in our vineyards high in the Siskiyou Mountains.” –

Red Lily Vineyard – “Red Lily Vineyards is committed to a single goal — producing the finest Spanish-inspired wines possible. We fell in love with Spanish wines years ago, particularly Tempranillo and its brooding, earthy character, and chose to make these wines our focus.”

Rosella’s Vineyard & Winery – “We are a small family owned and operated Estate winery growing 5 varietals on site – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Syrah. It is our desire to grow the best fruit possible and to produce 1,000-1,500 cases of Small Lot, quality wines from that fruit.” –

Bear Creek Wine Region

Nestled in the hills along the back roads of the Bear Creek Valley, the southernmost portion of the Rogue Valley, the Bear Creek Wine Trail is just minutes away from Ashland, Medford, and Jacksonville. The Bear Creek Wine Trail is thrilled to have won an unprecedented number of top awards in statewide competition at the 14th annual Oregon Wine Experience and The San Francisco Wine Competition. Join us for a day of award winning wines!

Bear Creek Wineries

Irvine Roberts Vineyard – “The Irvine & Roberts Family Vineyards lie between the Cascade Mountains and the remnants of the ancient Siskiyou Mountain Ranges. […] Over time, these mountains eroded into rolling hills when the great plates slipped sideways and split the ranges into large, upturned blocks, which became the water-carved canyons like the Rogue Valley in which our vineyards are planted today.” –

Weisinger Family Winery – “Weisinger Family Winery produces wine from fruit grown in the Bear Creek Valley around Ashland, Oregon. Located in the Rogue Valley Appellation of southern Oregon, the Bear Creek Valley is home to many grape varietals such as Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier. Weisinger Family Winery produces many of these wines, as well as Pinot Noir, our signature Gewürztraminer and proprietary Bordeaux blends such as Claret and Petit Pompadour.” –

Pebblestone Cellars – “A family-owned business, fulfilling our dreams and passions for wine for over 30 years. The grapes used in the wines come exclusively from Ellis Vineyards, which is located in the middle of an ancient riverbed. The name “PEBBLESTONE” was chosen as it aptly describes the sandy, gravelly, and well-drained soils of the vineyard. This special soil and the warm sunny climate of Southern Oregon are major contributors to the intense aromatics and flavors which are characteristic in the wines.” –

Dancin Vineyards – “Dancin Vineyards is a collection of distinctively unique vineyards of Pinot noir and Chardonnay located above the forested foothills just outside the historic gold rush town of Jacksonville, Oregon each contributing its own individuality (terroir) to the overall diversity of our growing sites.” –

2Hawk Vineyard & Winery – “2Hawk Vineyard & Winery is named after the two hawks that have soared over the estate and the vineyard since its original planting. 2Hawk sits squarely in the middle of the unique microclimate of Southern Oregon. The dry, hot summer days are quickly cooled in the afternoon with a refreshing breeze that might frustrate the golfers at nearby Centennial Golf course, but truly delights the vines on their 23.5-acre vineyard.”

RoxyAnn Winery – “70 acres of primarily Bordeaux and Rhone style grapes thrive in the shallow clay soils at the base of Roxy Ann Peak in Medford, Oregon, where there has been a long-standing tradition of preserving the family-owned property far before grapes were even planted. With a strong commitment to land conservation at the forefront of every decision, we have strategically paired effective sustainable farming practices with state-of-the-art production facilities to yield the best fruit and ultimately superior wines.”

Dana Campbell Winery – “As we continue to expand, we will fully exploit the quality our small vineyard has to offer and keep the production to roughly 250 cases per varietal per year.  As new varietals are added, we will build in the quality controls and continue our pursuit of excellence.  All of our estate grapes are grown on the sunny south facing slopes of the Rogue Valley and get the small vineyard care and attention to enable the best quality for exceptional wines.” –
